Last Thursday, October 30, we invited our collaborators to visit the Day of the Dead altar dedicated to Marcelo de la Garza Flores, a beloved figure who left a deep mark on all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.
The altar was lovingly prepared with elements that reflected his essence: his favorite team, his paintings, brushes and art supplies, his coffee mug, his favorite food, the traditional pan de muerto and cempasúchil flowers. Every item was chosen with care, symbolizing the moments that defined him and the passion that guided his life.
More than an offering, this altar became a space of living memory, where art, colors and aromas intertwined with heartfelt remembrances. Marcelo brought color to every corner, turned the everyday into expression and shared his joy with everyone around him.
Throughout the day, pan de muerto was also offered in the dining room as a gesture of unity and tradition.
In addition, as part of our Halloween celebration, on Monday, October 27, a horror movie was screened during lunchtime in the dining area, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.
We deeply appreciate everyone who joined this tribute. Remembering Marcelo is a celebration of life, of art and of the bonds that unite us as a community.
