Last Tuesday, October 28, the UdeM Theater was filled with emotion, art, and hope during the annual edition of the recital Talents that Sponsor Dreams, organized by the Jorge García Abaroa Scholarship, presided over by Don Gustavo M. de la Garza and directed by Jorge Eugenio de la Garza Flores, through Vívaro Comunidad.
This annual event aims to raise funds to support higher education for young people from Nuevo León, mainly students from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and Conalep.
Currently, 310 scholarship recipients benefit from this program that believes in the power of talent to open new paths.
In this edition, 16 participants took the stage to share their art and passion, proving that talent can be a driving force for change. The jury, composed of Andreas Östberg, Michael Zenkl, María Eugenia Ayala, and Pilar Diosdado, had the difficult task of selecting the winners:
Fer Ferrari – First Place
Roxana Reyes – Second Place
Vanesa Caballero – Third Place
The night was filled with unforgettable moments and was graced by the presence of Don Gustavo, Jorge Eugenio, and his wife, Puk Limpabandhu de De la Garza, who proudly and joyfully accompanied the young participants that, through their talent, are building a future full of possibilities.
Talents that Sponsor Dreams is more than just a recital: it is an act of faith in youth, in art, and in education as tools to transform lives. Every note, every applause, and every story shared remind us that when heart and action come together, dreams become reality.
