On Thursday, July 31, we launched the very first day of our Summer Camp: Explorers in Action, and we couldn’t be happier with the participation of 19 little adventurers — the sons and daughters of our collaborators — who arrived right on time at 10:00 a.m., full of excitement and ready to live an unforgettable experience.
The adventure began with a tour of the Telecommunications Museum (MuTel), where our colleagues Escarlet Acosta, Research Analyst, Ingrid González, and Ninfa Romero, Museum Manager, guided the children through the evolution of the telephone and shared fascinating stories about the telegraph and telegram.
Inspired by this journey into the past, the explorers created their very own telegram addressed to a loved one — and the result was so touching that their messages are now displayed on a special mural on the fourth floor of Torre San Jerónimo!
But the adventure didn’t stop there.
Our guests headed up to the fifth floor, where Liga ACE welcomed them with open arms and geared them up for an immersive virtual reality experience that left them absolutely amazed.
And because every great explorer deserves a special keepsake, at the end of the day each participant received a thoughtful commemorative gift, created with love so they could take home a piece of this wonderful experience.
To top it all off, they enjoyed a delicious lunch and cake, because every grand expedition deserves a celebration.
This event was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of Human Capital and Corporate Communications, who are already putting the finishing touches on the second session, coming up on August 14 — and it’s almost full!
Thank you to everyone who made this special day possible. See you on the next adventure!
