On the 27th, the Human Capital and Corporate Medical Services teams hosted the webinar “Mental Health: Psychologist or Psychiatrist? Talking is Moving Forward… What Matters Is Getting Started!” led by mental health specialist Psych. Alejandro Montañez.
During the session, the differences between seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist were explained clearly and empathetically, debunking common misconceptions that often prevent people from seeking help. It was a space for reflection — but more importantly, for normalizing the act of speaking about how we feel.
Participation was active, questions were sincere, and the atmosphere was respectful and open. Because taking care of our mental health isn’t a luxury or a trend — it’s a necessity. And taking the first step, even a small one, is already progress.
These kinds of spaces remind us that we are not alone, and that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but of courage.
