In an emotional ceremony, 13 beneficiaries of the Jorge Garc\u00eda Abaroa Scholarship received their degrees at the auditorium of the Faculty of Economics at UANL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don Gustavo M. de la Garza and Jorge de la Garza, the founder and program director respectively, accompanied the students in their graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was presided over by Santos Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez, the rector of UANL, and Jaime Yesaki, president of the UANL Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the new graduates completed their degrees with a 100-point average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the recently concluded semester, the Jorge Garc\u00eda Abaroa Scholarship supported 130 students from UANL and 85 from Conalep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
