We learned that this disease occurs when the arteries do not allow normal blood flow, which can affect the heart and organs. Some common symptoms<\/strong> include headaches, nosebleeds, and vision problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the conference delivered by Dr. Gustavo A. Paniagua Frausto<\/strong> the importance of regularly measuring blood pressure was emphasized, especially for individuals over 40 years old, overweight, or obese, leading a sedentary lifestyle, smoking, or consuming alcohol, and experiencing high levels of stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, we identified risk factors<\/strong> such as family history, lack of physical activity, high-salt diets, low intake of vegetables and fruits, alcohol and tobacco consumption, and overweight or obesity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To prevent<\/strong> this disease<\/strong>, it is crucial to maintain a healthy diet, reduce the consumption of salt and saturated fats, maintain a proper weight, exercise regularly, take care of our mental health, and avoid smoking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
