From April 6 to 9, Nuevo Le\u00f3n hosted one of the most recognized esports competitions worldwide, the AMERICAN RMR \u2013 CS GO PARIS 2023. This event, supported by Liga ACE<\/strong>, was extraordinary as it was broadcast to almost 20 million spectators on five continents.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rooms and lounges of the Safi Metropolitan hotel, in San Pedro Garza Garc\u00eda, became the bunkers where 16 elite Counter-Strike teams competed for one of the five tickets assigned for American representatives to attend the specialty world championship to be held in Paris, France in May. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liga ACE<\/strong>in alliance with Blast.TV, were the main sponsors of the event in which Counter-Strike video game experts faced off in multiple rounds to achieve various objectives and win. Counter-Strike was the steppingstone for games like Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty, and Overwatch.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are positioning Nuevo Le\u00f3n as the esports hub in Latin America,\u201d <\/em>said Octavio Echeagaray, General Director of Liga ACE<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevo Le\u00f3n received teams from different countries of the American continent: one from Argentina, 10 from Brazil, and five from Canada and the United States. They faced each other in Swiss format games to find the undisputed champion of the American continent. The duels were broadcast via streaming, through Blast.TV, on their Twitch and YouTube channels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThanks to our proximity to the United States, we can make this industry grow in our country. In addition, we are very excited to contribute Latino talent and share it with the rest of the world,\u201d <\/em>added Echeagaray.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AMERICAN RMR was carried out by a Latin provider for the first time, thanks to Blast.tv's confidence in ACE League<\/strong> as the largest Latin producer specialized in esports and the best option to carry out this elite event, which had an excellent reception.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event was possible thanks to V\u00edvaro\u2019s infrastructure and technological support, V\u00edvaro<\/strong>coordination with its business units V\u00edvaro Telecom<\/strong>, V\u00edvaro Media <\/strong>and V\u00edvaro V\u00eddeo<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, V\u00edvaro Media<\/strong> contributed its experience in the worldwide distribution and transmission of signals and video for events of global interest, while V\u00edvaro Video<\/strong> contributed its extensive knowledge regarding production of international sporting events.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Brazilian team \"Furia\" was crowned the winner of the tournament. They got the first prize, more than $1.5 million dollars, in addition to the right to represent the continent in the French Major.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
