On Friday, March 24, 2023, a conference given by Dr. <\/strong>Am\u00e9rica Rivera, entitled \u201cAnxiety, ally or enemy?\u201d was held through Microsoft Teams. It started at 11:00 a.m. and was attended by around 80 collaborators who showed interest in the subject. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur mind obeys what our voice says. It does not understand the difference between reality and an idea. It obeys what it hears and what it imagines,\"<\/em>said Rivera, who is a specialist in psychology and an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the session, diverse topics were presented, and attendees' questions were answered, while collaborators learned to identify how anxiety manifests itself, how to manage it and treat it. A moment was allocated to listening to testimonies of people who have gone through difficult times.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBe grateful for and take care of your mental health; look after it,\u201d <\/em>added Rivera, stressing the importance of paying attention to these issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
