With the Chelsea FC - Villarreal FC match broadcast last August, TNT Sports Mexico made its HBO Max streaming and TNT cable TV launch for the exclusive broadcast of 138 live matches of the UEFA Champions League. To achieve this feat, Warner Media selected the consortium made up of PCTV and Vívaro’s companies, Vívaro Video y Vívaro Media, who’ll produce, from Mexico City, all of the Champions League content to be broadcasted on HBO, TNT and Cinemax.
Daniel Gonzalez, CEO of Vívaro Digital said: “We’re very proud of the vote of confidence Warner Media has placed on our companies. Aldea will provide the fiber optic connectivity to take the match broadcasts from Europe and distribute it to their studios in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, as well as transporting the signals produced between them.”
For TVTEL (Vívaro Video), this agreement with Warner Media allows the company to enter the Mexican market and provide remote production services. Its alliance with PCTV established TVTEL Vívaro Video as a first-rate production center, thus increasing its service portfolio in the region.
