Behind the scenes of the World Cup Qatar 2022

Vívaro Media, the company in charge of taking the signals generated in this worldwide event to various countries in America, Europe and Africa, has evolved its extensive video transport network and taken it to unprecedented levels.

“By 2018, we were already in 4K or UHD resolution. Our customers are from Latin American and European regions. In Qatar’s particular case, we’ve closed contracts with 18 stations," shared Daniel González, Vívaro Media Director.

“For the event’s 18 stations, we set up 44 road cases that contain all the encoding, switching, equipment, etc.,” he added.

Vivaro Media is doing the transport of the World Cup live video signals to 18 customers using the Nimbravision management system.

The signal sent by Vívaro Media is a proprietary private network and is therefore isolated and cannot be altered.

The company’s CEO also revealed what it takes to implement solutions for so many clients at an event of this scale and magnitude.
