AUTHORITIES VISIT MUTEL COLLECTION

Prominent public officials visited the corporate headquarters to see the pieces that make up the collection of the Telecommunications Museum.

The intention is for governments to learn first-hand about the valuable collection and jointly explore possible support for the establishment of a permanent site.

Ximena Tamariz García, Secretary of Economic Development, and Claudia Ibarra, Director of Municipal Culture, attended on behalf of the government of the Mayor of Monterrey, Adrián de la Garza.

Also visiting our president and founder, Mr. Gustavo M. de la Garza Ortega, were representatives of the administration of San Pedro Mayor Mauricio Fernandez.

Alejandra Álvarez, Secretary of Culture, and Jorge Meléndez, expert in Information Technology, toured each of the corridors of the area that currently houses part of the collection that De la Garza Ortega has been compiling over the years.

Jorge Eugenio de la Garza Flores, director of Vívaro Comunidad, and Ninfa Romero, manager of MuTel, also participated in the visits.

Both governments shared with the hosts their willingness to promote the project of erecting or assigning a worthy building and establishing a permanent exhibition of the valuable pieces.

In addition to this type of work, MuTel's administration is carrying out several actions to promote it so that the general public can get to know the collection in person.

And, of course, the Vivaro family is at the head of the queue.

So wait for news about the dynamics to learn about the history of Telecommunications.
