Millions of international football fans will enjoy all the matches of the Euro Cup and Copa América, with the experience and technology of Vívaro, through its subsidiary Vívaro Media.
All the technological equipment is ready and waiting for the first whistle of the Euro Cup, which will start this Friday, June 14, and whose Final will be played in Berlin, exactly one month later.
"Our work will focus, in the Eurocup, on delivering signals to one of our Canadian clients. We are going to bring them all the signals, live, of the games," explained Daniel Gonzalez, CEO of VÍVARO Media.
"From Frankfurt we are taking the signals and from there we will be bringing them to Montreal, where we will take them -through fiber optics- to TVA, which is the French-language television in Canada, and for that purpose a special installation was made for the event".
The executive pointed out that the main objective is to deliver an efficient and timely signal, without any failure. "It is something we do on a regular basis with them and we expect everything to be a success.
For the European Championship, he said, they will provide video contribution backpacks, via mobile network, to LiveMode, one of their clients in Brazil.
Both the European Championship and the Copa América are tournaments organized every four years by UEFA and CONMEBOL, respectively, to define the best teams on both continents.
The Copa América will be held from June 20 to July 14, in the United States, and Vívaro Media will also be involved in the event, carrying the signals of all the matches to Globo TV, in Brazil; a network for which they will also perform the same task from the stadiums where their national team will be playing.
This last task will also be carried out for the Mexican channel TV Azteca, also from the stadiums where the national team will play.
"In the particular case of this Copa América, we will be providing service for DirecTV, because they will be (broadcasting) from all their studios in South America, between Chile, Argentina, Ecuador and Peru", explained González, "they will be doing their programs and require a very low latency. So we will provide them with ultra-low latency equipment that allows them, at the broadcast quality level for television that is much higher quality, much higher definition. A transmission with virtually instantaneous response."
"We made the adjustments so that DirecTV, during the Copa America, can carry its transmissions, between its studios, instantaneously, which is what they are requiring from us."
These 2024 editions endorse Vívaro Media's commitment to these two tournaments, but also demonstrate its extensive experience in sporting and other events that capture the attention of millions of souls around the world.
