We collected over 50 kilograms of batteries to contribute to the environment
On May 27, Vívaro delivered over 50 kilos of batteries collected from the staff to the Recycling Center at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.
Maintenance personnel, led by Ángel García from the company's Sustainability area, transported part of the material collected in recent days from various containers located on each floor of the corporate building.
According to the Federal government page, batteries are one of the most widely consumed products in society, as they provide the necessary energy for the operation of everyday equipment and products.
However, the portal notes that, according to current federal environmental regulations, they become special management waste.
The Battery Collection Campaign is ongoing, and everyone can support it. Special deposits for these wastes are located on different floors of the San Jerónimo building in Monterrey.
Thank you very much for contributing to the care of the environment.
Let's all strive for an extraordinary world!
