What can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family. - Mother Teresa of Calcutta
For the United Nations, May 15th commemorates the International Day of Families. At Vívaro, we are very proud of the families of our employees.
On this date, the UN aims to raise awareness about the fundamental role of families in the education of children—from early childhood and within the family unit—and the opportunities for lifelong learning that exist for children and youth.
Today, the fast pace of life and constant digital connection have limited the time we enjoy family togetherness.
According to data from the National Time Use Survey, conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography in 2023, people over 12 years old spent, on average, only 8.1 hours per week on family and social interactions.
However, all is not lost, as there are various ways to optimize our time and disconnect from the digital environment to offer quality moments to our family, our main affection.
For example, each morning we can dedicate time to waking up our children, helping them with their schoolwork, and creating habits of playing and engaging in activities together.
We can also organize special dinners at home and start and finish projects together.
Fun getaways are essential, at least twice a month.
Let’s promote family unity and contribute to a better and extraordinary society!
