In order to consolidate and promote Nuevo León as the hub of the gaming industry in Latin America, Liga Ace, a subsidiary of Vívaro, our company, and the State Government, signed a letter of intent this Thursday at the Safi Metropolitan Hotel.
This took place within the framework of the celebration of the Counter-Strike 2 RMR Americas 2024, a qualifier for the Copenhagen Major, where Gustavo M. de la Garza Flores, CEO of Vívaro, and Octavio Echeagaray, CEO of Liga ACE, allied with high-ranking officials of the current state administration to strengthen what our company has been building in the last three years.
Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Secretary of Economy, and Maricarmen Martínez Villarreal, Secretary of Tourism, expressed the state's interest in supporting our company's plans in an activity that has reached audiences of over 3 billion viewers.
De la Garza Flores pointed out that efforts will be made to promote conditions favorable for entrepreneurship, economic, and human development for all stakeholders in this industry, including gamers.
Liga Ace will be headquartered at the Safi hotel from March 1st to 4th to carry out, for the second consecutive year, tasks aimed at surpassing the figure of 20 million online viewers, in over 90 hours of transmission, achieved in 2023 at the same event.
In the Counter-Strike 2 RMR Americas 2024, 16 teams participate, consisting of 96 players from various nations, aiming to earn a ticket to participate in the Copenhagen Major, which has a prize of $1.25 million.
It was announced at the meeting that Liga Ace will hold an event in September, which will attract thousands of fans to a local venue, something unprecedented so far.
Details of this competition will be announced in the coming weeks.
We are proudly extraordinary!
