Before the internet and memes, people paid attention and had fun watching ads. “Mándame un beepazo” (roughly translated to “Beep me up”) was Biper’s slogan, a company that belonged to RadioBeep, later renamed Marcatel and now known as Vívero. It brought message reception technology to small devices before mobile phones.
