In an emotional ceremony, 13 beneficiaries of the Jorge García Abaroa Scholarship received their degrees at the auditorium of the Faculty of Economics at UANL.
Don Gustavo M. de la Garza and Jorge de la Garza, the founder and program director respectively, accompanied the students in their graduation.
The event was presided over by Santos Guzmán López, the rector of UANL, and Jaime Yesaki, president of the UANL Foundation.
Most of the new graduates completed their degrees with a 100-point average.
In the recently concluded semester, the Jorge García Abaroa Scholarship supported 130 students from UANL and 85 from Conalep.
