Don Gustavo M. de la Garza Ortega shares experiences with students

Founder of the Vívaro Group and the Jorge García Abaroa Scholarship meets with Conalep students as they prepare for the end of the semester.

Students from second and fourth semesters of the technical high school "Conalep Ing. Gustavo M. de la Garza Ortega" received a lesson in perseverance and history as they learned about the trajectory from the very voice of the person whose name their educational institution carries.

Don Gustavo M. de la Garza Ortega visited the campus located in San Nicolás de los Garza on the morning of Monday, June 19th, to meet with dozens of students specializing in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Engineer Guadalupe Pineda Achá, the director of Conalep, hosted the gathering where the entrepreneur and philanthropist shared with the young students everything related to his experience in creating the Radio Beep, a device that was a turning point in telecommunications in the 1980s.

The meeting took place at the institution founded in 1981, which, 30 years later, was named after the president of Vívaro.

Hundreds of CONALEP and UANL students benefit from the Jorge García Abaroa Scholarship, created by Don Gustavo. For the past 23 years, this scholarship has covered the tuition of over 2,000 young individuals who need this kind of support to succeed.

At the end of the meeting, some students had private conversations with the Vívaro founder to seek advice on how to become successful individuals and learn how to create technological devices from scratch.
