Vívaro Digital was born as a pioneer in streaming services in 2004. Few people know that we were one of the first companies in Mexico to master the integration of different systems (hardware and software) for live video streaming over the internet, offering CDNs (content delivery networks) and all the required physical infrastructure.
YouTube, as a streaming pioneer,, arrived in Mexico in 2007. Our experience in solution integration and government sales processes is the main opportunity we have for 2023 and 2024. Organization: IMCINE (Mexican Institute of Cinematography)
Mission: The mission of IMCINE is to promote the production, distribution, and exhibition of Mexican cinema; stimulate national integration and cultural decentralization through cinema, and establish cooperation agreements.
Requirement: To fulfill its mission, IMCINE requires a provider of technological infrastructure to distribute and market its catalog of films online. Additionally, they have the obligation to ensure that elementary-level students of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) can access audiovisual content that will be included in the new textbooks in the upcoming school year (2023-2024).
Issues:
- Their current provider is located in Spain, resulting in a lack of immediate support due to the time zone difference.
- Customizing the platform to enable automated royalty payment control and disbursement based on sales is currently impossible.
- Due to the need to deliver audiovisual content to SEP students, it is estimated that at least 30% of the existing 22 million students will start consuming these materials. Thus, they require a platform with sufficient capacity to scale bandwidth according to the daily demand throughout the entire school year.
- Their contracting processes are time-consuming. They expect to sign a new contract no later than July 15th, but in order to deliver the content to SEP students on time, they need their new platform to start testing on August 1st of this year.
