Thanks to advances in digital transformation, internet access is within the reach of communities with social and economic inequalities. As Vívaro, we are proud to contribute our grain of sand, providing connectivity in spaces where all women deserve to have a powerful tool like technology; and, at the same time, help to reduce the digital gender gap.
Mónica Aline Serrano Aguilar, Product Development and Marketing Manager, shared with us a part of her vision of our contribution as a telecommunications company.

Mónica, who is an exemplary leader within our company, is a Communications and Electronics Engineer, with more than six years as part of Vívaro family. Throughout her career, she has made her way in the telecommunications industry, being a role model for women on her team and those around her.
However, she said that getting into the place where she is nowadays was not easy, because the career she studied -in another period of time- was considered inappropriate for women.

This International Women's Day, it is important to make visible the motto chosen this year by the UN to commemorate and recognize the importance of the female gender on the planet; and, at the same time, the benefits that connectivity brings, since they deserve more opportunities to achieve their goals.
