Tribure To Vivaro Media For Attending Qatar

It is a source of pride for the entire Vívaro Family that our partners at Vívaro Media have managed to participate for the fifth consecutive time in the World Cup by offering transport of video signals to television stations around the world.

Let's remember that Vívaro Media is in charge of carrying the signals from America, Europe and Africa, in the same way it closed contracts with 18 stations.

Mike Lorio, Events Technical Manager of Vívaro Media and Steve Bergeron, Director of Operations of Vívaro Media, commented that they lived extremely hard days in Qatar.

“We were totally focused on the deployment of the services since the beginning of November,” Lorio and Audy commented.

In almost two months, we share with you some fun facts that Vívaro Media collected.

*600L of coffee: each engineer consumed around three cups of coffee a day, each of which was 450mL, considering that there were six people in the office.

*223,704 hours of transmission in total.

*18,000TB of streaming, compared to Netflix, the amount that was made equals 685 years of non-stop Netflix.

*45,000 steps per day, that reveals our engineer's smart watch, so by the end of the World Cup he will have walked 750km.

Miguel Cruz, Network Specialist at Vívaro Media and Juan Camilo Barba, Broadcast Deployment at Vívaro Media, commented that they are happy but happy to return home and have had a great experience.

“Continue to provide uninterrupted customer service… Every game is more important than the last.” Commented Marc Roy, Broadcast Network Engineer at Vívaro Media.

VívaroMedia is serious when we say that the customer comes first. And that is exactly what they showed us in Qatar: nothing is more important than customer satisfaction.
