TD SYNNEX AND ACE LEAGUE FOSTER WORKPLACE INTEGRATION WITH “RECHARGE ROOMS” IMPLEMENTATION

50 collaborators took part in the in-person Mario Kart tournament, divided into two venues.

To launch the newly installed “Recharge Rooms”, TD Synnex, leading company in attractive IT solutions, and Ace Esports League, the largest video game league in Mexico and Latin America, organized a phenomenally successful Mario Kart 8 tournament.

The competition was the perfect recreational activity to open the "Recharge Rooms", spaces where TD Synnex employees can disconnect from work, relax in a stress-free space, or challenge their coworkers to a friendly foosball ma

The Mario Kart tournament allowed TD Synnex’s collaborators to set aside their usual workplace relationships, release stress through a playful activity, increase their teamwork, and strengthen their bonds for greater productivity.

The 50 participants of the in-person tournament were divided into two venues: the Chilpancingo offices and the Torre Vistral workspaces. The event’s final round was also livestreamed via Facebook.

The tournament champions not only strengthened ties with their peers, but also went home with attractive prizes. After the qualifying rounds and exciting semifinals that featured several nerve-wracking ties, the results were as follows:

Jaime Ramos from the Chilpancingo offices took third place after facing intense competition and won a gamer kit that included headphones, keyboard, and mouse.

Second place went to Alberto Gallegos, a collaborator from the Torre Vistral offices, who, after advancing through the qualifying rounds and semifinals, reached the final bout with 117 points. However, the last races proved to be a challenge, resulting in an honorable second place and a gamer chair as a prize.

In the end, the winner of the first Mario Kart 8 tournament sponsored by TD Synnex was Julio A. Rodríguez, AKA “Jules”, a Torre Vistral collaborator, who also reached the last round with 117 points but prevailed in the final bout against close contender Alberto Gallegos and became first place in the tournament to the excited chant of "Jules, Jules, Jules…”. This earned him a brand-new Nintendo Switch. An honorable mention must be made to the fact that Rodriguez achieved the incredible feat using only a flipped JoyCon.

The first TD Synnex esports tournament finished with remarkable success and the hope of more exciting tournaments soon.
