The collaboration took place from August 26 to October 9.
20 teams were part of the 96-match tournament.
Ace Esports League, the largest videogame league in Mexico and Latin America, once again reaffirmed its position as leaders in the region, by collaborating with Up N’ Beyond to produce the LATAM Fall 2022 PUGB Mobile Pro League, also known as PMPL, the most popular game in the world.
This collaboration included support from Ace Esports League’s production and operations teams to broadcast the competition, which lasted for 6 weeks, hosted 20 teams and reached a prize pool of $150,000 USD.
Infinity Esports, Team Queso, and Furious Gaming were some of the teams that took part in this 2022 edition, which had a new format. After 6 weeks, the 16 best teams went to the finals that took place from October 7 to 9, playing 6 daily games in different scenarios.
The result of these matches was a clear victory for Team Queso, made up of Reyessss, Ayala, PapiPotro and ScreaaMzzu, who finished in first place with 234 points and a cash prize of $7,000 USD.
Infinity Team won second place and took a $3,500 USD prize home. Third place on the podium went to the Aton Esports team who received a prize of $2,500 USD. Jaguares and Furious Gaming took fourth and fifth place, respectively, earning a spot in the 2022 PMPL America's Championship, were the best teams on the continent come together.
Finally, the five winners of the PMPL America's Championship will go on to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 which begins in November and ends in January of next year. This tournament will take place in Indonesia and will have a prize pool of $4 million USD.
