Passion for Esports in Monterrey, Nuevo León could not be held back any longer, which is why, on May 21st, Bit Master 10took place: a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate face-to-face tournament that brought together 256 participants from all over the country. For 16 hours, they enjoyed a competition of one of the most popular electronic sports.
The Bit Master 10 was held at the Lerma #1710 offices in Mitras Centro
and marked the official return of face-to-face tournaments of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in Monterrey, an event that had been suspended for the last two years. Enthusiasm for live Esports is restarting, evidenced by the more than 80 spectators who gathered for the event.
Once again Ace Esports League, the largest Esports league in Latin America, collaborated with Bit Master, the largest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament organizer in Mexico, whose clout managed to offer a cumulative pot of more than $10,000 MXN distributed to the top 3 players.
Ace Esports League’s experience, in conjunction with Bit Master, allowed them to offer a dynamic experience to the players, where they had the chance of playing on several rounds. The tournament started in Pool-Brackets mode and ended with Double Elimination, that is, each player had 2 opportunities to compete before being completely eliminated from the tournament. Thus, more than 2000 matches were achieved throughout the day.
The Bit Master 10 was broadcast on Twitch.tv, gathering over 300 simultaneous viewers and making it on the platform’s featured page for more than 6 hours.
