In 2009, Vívaro (formerly Marcatel) founded Vívaro Community (formerly Marcatel Foundation), a project for the creation of social development programs.
“Vívaro Community is made up of two initiatives. The first is the nonprofit organization that contributes to the technological, social and human development of the community. The second corresponds to the Jorge García Scholarship,” commented Jorge de la Garza, Real Estate Business Director and Vívaro Community Director.
Through the foundation, we look to promote and take part in projects that offer comfort and welfare to our society.
The Jorge García Scholarship is a tribute to Jorge Abaroa, who dedicated his life to supporting the state of Nuevo León’s youth.
The main goal of Vívaro Community is bettering education, health and cultural center quality, collaborating in technological and infrastructure improvements.
For 13 years, Vívaro Community has been the social branch of our company and has helped multiple communities.
