Grupo Vívaro company Aldea Solutions (now Vívaro Media) is pleased to announce it has acquired a majority stake in TVTel (now Vívaro Video), a multimedia production and distribution company based in Santiago, Chile.
Founded four years ago by Rodrigo Peralta and Matías Sarasola, TVTel has quickly positioned itself in the industry through innovative broadcast and media services.
TVTel's service portfolio includes production, transmission services through IP technology, 4G/5G and satellites; as well as centralized/remote production from its offices in Santiago.
The company operates in Latin America and has also been involved in a large number of international sporting event projects.
In the past, Aldea and TVTel have collaborated on important projects. The combination of talent and experience were key in finding this great opportunity to become stronger by providing integrated services; from content creation to distribution through its multiple platforms, including our OTT.
“In our global expansion plan, we needed an additional link in our structure to go beyond the content transmission we’ve been doing on our fiber optic network for several years, and also produce it and send it to all the teTV stations in the world,” shared Gustavo M. de la Garza Ortega, President and Founder of Grupo Marcatel, which includes Aldea and other companies in the industry. "It's a dream come true," he added.
The acquisition of TVTel will also help strengthen Aldea's presence in Chile, where it has been operating since 2020, providing broadcast services for its national soccer league through its subsidiary Aldea Chile SpA.
